Meet Antoinette

Antoinette Weston has dedicated most of her life to public service, first as a soldier, then as a nurse, and for the last 18 years as an advocate and attorney with Cook County.  As a former Cook County Assistant State's Attorney, Antoinette prosecuted cases on behalf of the citizens of the County.  While serving as an Assistant Public Guardian with the Cook County Public Guardian's Office, Antoinette represented the County's most vulnerable citizens, by litigating for the best interests of the County's abused and/or neglected children.  For the past 14 years, Antoinette has defended the rights of the County's indigent citizens by serving as an Assistant Public Defender.  Antoinette has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 27 years.  She is a military veteran, having been honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Reserve, after 8 years of service and is also a Desert Storm Veteran.  

Antoinette earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.   ​

Antoinette has lived in the 3rd Subcircuit for 15 years.  She currently resides in the Ashburn neighborhood with her two daughters.
